A Story of Community Engagement: The Nova Scotia Regional Council

The Nova Scotia Regional Council has become a beacon of hope and support in the community since its founding. Under the leadership of current chairman Bro. Eric Sardovia, the council actively participates in various community projects and events, embodying its motto.

One of their notable initiatives is the Clean-up Drive, where members come together to beautify local parks and public spaces. They also organize Blood Donation Drives, encouraging community members to give blood and support local hospitals.

The council’s Clothing and Food Drives provide essential items to families in need, fostering a spirit of generosity and community support. Their participation in Basketball Fundraiser brings everyone together for a day of friendly competition, with proceeds funding future projects.

Celebrating milestones, the council holds Anniversary Celebrations to honor contributions from members and the community. Additionally, they actively support Filipino Community Events, promoting cultural heritage and unity.

Through these efforts, the Nova Scotia Regional Council demonstrates a strong commitment to service and compassion, making a lasting impact on the lives of those around them.

Nova Scotia Regional Council: A Beacon of Brotherhood and Community

Founded on March 17, 2011, the Nova Scotia Regional Council stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of unity and resilience, encapsulated in its motto, “Quocunque Jeceris Stabit! Wherever you throw it will stand!” This phrase reflects the unwavering commitment of its members to support one another and thrive together, regardless of the challenges they may face.

The inception of the council was spearheaded by Bro. Jude Oraa, who sought to connect with fellow Triskelions in Nova Scotia through social networks. His search led him to Bro. Salvador Mago, a fellow member from the same chapter in the Philippines. This initial connection paved the way for the formation of a robust council, as Bro. Jude and Bro. Salvador reached out to other members, ultimately bringing together a dedicated group of individuals who shared a common vision.

The founding members of the Nova Scotia Regional Council include: Bro. Jude Oraa, Bro. Salvador Mago, Sis. Victoria De Lara, Bro. JhayAr Herminigildo, Bro. Ansel Amio,
Bro. Vlademir Salcedo, Bro. Rommel Penohermoso, Bro. Terwin Branzuela, Bro. David De Lara and Bro. Jay De Lara.

Located in one of the friendliest places on earth, with Halifax as its main city, Nova Scotia may be less populated than other provinces, but it is rich in community spirit. The establishment of the Nova Scotia Regional Council marks a significant milestone as it is the first council founded in the Maritime provinces of Canada, showcasing the reach and influence of the Triskelion fraternity.

The council is actively engaged in supporting various community projects and events, demonstrating its commitment to giving back and fostering a sense of belonging among its members and the wider community. Through their collective efforts, the Nova Scotia Regional Council continues to build a legacy of brotherhood, service, and positive impact, proving that even in a smaller province, the spirit of Triskelion can flourish and thrive.
