“It is every Triskelion’s’ duty to reach out and propagate TRISKELIONISM to make its doctrine global and historical”.
The Tenets and Code of Conduct of the Tau Gamma Phi and Sigma are the noble maxims that trigger the individual Triskelion to search reach one another and internet plays a vital role in connecting every member of Tau Gamma Phi/Sigma. In July of 2007, Bro. Bernard Agustin (Lyceum of the Philippines), took the initiative to get in touch with Bro. Dan Toledo (MDG Lyceum of the Philippines) asking the later if there is an existing council here in Alberta but instead, the former was redirected to Bro. Alan Cruz ( University of Santo Tomas) who is based in Calgary and that time was the president of the Southern Alberta Regional Council. Bro. Bernard Agustin, after knowing from Bro. Alan Cruz that there was no existing council in Edmonton, was even more triggered and motivated to pursue his dream of organizing a council.
Circa 2008, Bro. Bernard Agustin received a phone call from Bro. Alan Cruz, granting a blessing to start searching for the Triskelion brothers and sisters who they believed were residing in Edmonton area.
Through Brod. Bernard Agustin effort, he was able to get in touched with the first batch of Triskelion’s in Edmonton, who, in the first place served as the pillars of what we called now Northern Alberta Council. The very first in line was a sigma named, Sis Ana Luna (Central Colleges of the Philippines). Followed by the group of PHIs, namely: Brothers Manny Yabut (Jr. Pio Del Pilar Educational Institution, Makati City), Henry Conde (San Pablo College), Cristian Diamse (TYM Legaspi City), and Jose Carlos Sariba (TYM Legaspi City).
This same group held the First General Assembly during the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of our beloved Fraternity/Sorority on October 4, 2008 at Bro. Bernard residence. This celebration was joined by the sixth verified member of the group, named Bro. Jovy Herrera ( a former Grand Triskelion of Lyceum of the Philippines). Through this noble celebration, the seed – the Northern Alberta Council has been planted and sprouted through the continuous and indefatigable effort of this first group of Triskelion in Edmonton.
In November 2008, through the word of mouth and the intervention of the worldwide yahoo groups, the following members were verified and recognized. Namely Brothers Joselito Velasco ( Pili Chapter), Jose Talens (Philippine Marine Merchant College), Daryll Gambito (San Pedro College of Business and Administration), Ryan Reyes (Centro Escolar University), Manny Villamayor (TYM), Michael Duhaylungsod (TYM Siquijor), Gilbert Allan Balitaan (Lyceum Batangas), Rhoel Torres (Fatima University), Zandro De Leon (Jr. Sta Catalina Chapter, Binan Laguna), Edwin Soriano (Central College of the Philippines), Chad Topacio (TYM Cavite City), Sir Jude Oraa (Bicol University), Woodrow Sarte ( TYM Muntinlupa City), Jerry Yuson (Lyceum of the Philippines), and Roy Van Ace Cabrera (Collegio De San Juan de Letran).
The first election and sets of officers was called and held by majority’s demand for Triskelion year 2008-2009 was the following:
President Bernard Agustin
Internal Vice President Henry Conde
External Vice President Joselito M. Velasco
Secretary Christian Diamse

With this set of officers, the idea of registering the council took place and the Triskelions’ Grand Fraternity and Sorority – Northern Alberta Council was incorporated in Alberta on 6th of May 2009, with the corporate Access Number: 5014689573.
